For those unaware, WVU had to bend their rules to retire Pat White's number. Up until this decision, the WVU football program required a former player to have been named a consensus All-American to be considered for a number retirement, not just All-American but consensus. That was something that alluded White despite his greatness.

Whenever the White debate would get brought up, multiple WVU officials would always tell me they felt uncomfortable about bending that rule and they liked having a very strict bar, stricter than some other programs.

But if anyone was deserving of the honor regardless of a rule, it's Pat White.

I was surprised to see MTG (@mtgreenee) post about Sway. We didn't pay her for it. That said, I’m grateful she did, and we’d love to work with people all across the political spectrum, including you.

As to my politics: I dislike both Trump and Biden. I love America, and I think America can do better.

I fled Iran as a child. I think Iran can do better too.

Like most Americans, I feel disappointed in both political parties. I started and funded Sway to offer an alternative. It's a work in progress that still has much room to improve.
