A visual proof of the Pythagorean theorem
- We created with animation a clear visual proof of the Pythagorean theorem. Starting with a right triangle, we show how the areas of the two smaller squares, a² and b², can be transformed through shearing and rotation.

Even though the shapes change during the movement, their total area stays exactly the same. When they fit perfectly into the square on the hypotenuse, it reveals why c² = a² + b² in a simple and satisfying way.
