Rather than scolding or mocking someone for being stupid enough to believe something, a piece of information, or a person, it's more important for me to think about why you believe it, the process of "believing" is not instantaneous, and there are so many reasons behind it.
It's always easiest to make a judgment. Everyone can make a judgment based on their own experience or knowledge, but sometimes they forget that they are the one making the judgment, but they are not the one in it.
