Pleased to announce the establishment of “Overseas Support Desks” in CDA & ICT offices as per directives of the PM @anwaar_kakar. Now, overseas Pakistanis can access all manner of CDA services including plot transfers, building plan approvals, completion certificates & annual property tax payments. Similarly, all manner of ICT services including issuance of international driving permits, arms licenses, & domicile certificates will be handled by ICT “Overseas Support Desk”. That’s not all: this is just the beginning. Following directives of Prime Minister @anwaar_kakar, held meetings with Chairman CDA in the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & finalised establishment of “Overseas Support Desks” at Capital Development Authority (CDA) as well as Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) offices. Reiterated that the present government is determined to resolve issues of overseas Pakistanis. Similar desks will be established in government departments across Pakistan in all provinces where there is increased interaction of our Overseas Pakistanis.

Chaired meeting of Manpower Export Coordination Committee to synergize efforts to export manpower as per PM’s @anwaar_kakar directive. All relevant stakeholders; @beoehq, @OEC_Pakistan, @NavttcP & @TEVTA, have been directed to provide input in order to finalize a feasible action-plan to ensure optimum enhancement in manpower export on an immediate basis. Input also sought from @ICMPD & OEP’s for incorporating into a pragmatic Action Plan. @sifcpakistan

Met H.E, the Japanese ambassador, Mr. Wada Mitsuhiro at my office. I raised the issue of enhancing our manpower export to Japan under the Technical Intern Training & Specified Skill Workers programme. Japan & Pakistan are committed to upgrade their bilateral trade relations. H.E, the ambassador & I, agreed to work together for the removal of any barrier that may hinder our enhanced trade as well as our manpower export.

ای او بی آئی پنشن میں اضافے کا نوٹیفکیشن آخر کار جاری کر دیا گیا ہے۔ اس میں تھوڑی تاخیر ہوئی لیکن اس نے جولائی ۲۰۲۳ سے پنشن کو پہلے کے ۸۵۰۰ روپے سے بڑھا کر ۱۰۰۰۰ روپے (۱۷ فیصد اضافہ) کر دیا۔ ای او بی آئی ستمبر 2023 سے جولائی اور اگست 2023 کے بقایا جات کے ساتھ اضافہ تقسیم کرے گا۔ یہ ملک بھر میں لاکھوں پنشنرز کے لئے ایک معمولی لیکن قابل قدر اضافہ ہے۔

Malik honored the sacrifices made during the #Pakistan movement & the 1965 war, emphasizing the importance of educating youth about Pakistan's brave Soldiers. He highlighted the government's commitment to #OverseasPakistanis & quality education for their children, lauding the OPF's initiatives in this regard.
