This is wild; have been to Hubei Province many times.

China often sees moisture pool along a broad, weak baroclinic zone called the Meiyu Front. Can favor heavy rain and occasional tornadoes. Southeastern provinces also occasionally experience intense supercells:

I was shooting storms in some prime jet conditions in Oklahoma, and almost got a gigantic jet right by me. This is one of those cloud-top features that could develop into a GJ with just a little more juice. Crazy and beautiful plasma

Anytime someone complains we missed a tornado or busted Im like yes and I am blessed to be able to do that. You don’t know how many people dream they could have the opportunity to have a blue sky bust and it just be their job. Every day is a blessing out here. Cherish it.

A professional storm chaser should be grateful to be in the field, being a part of the warning process, and realize that those busts were possibly someone’s home not being slabbed.

If you want to be a pro suck it up and do the grind for the process.
