In 1980 I watched Evonne Goolagong win Wimbledon. She was the first Aboriginal Australian woman to do so. Tonight, 50 years later, I watched another proud Aboriginal Woman, Ash Barty, do the same. Two great champions who inspire us and make us proud. Well done Ash.
