@RuthDairyFarmer @NuffieldFarming I found that for some farmers wolf and bear related incidents were increasing their likelihood of giving up milking and planting trees. It’s a tricky conundrum for sure. Enjoy your travels!

People will always be flawed in some way. Clarkson did good for agriculture with clarkson’s farm, but that doesn’t make him perfect… far from it in his case!

@ShropsWildlife This is a large distortion of the truth. The approval is temporary and for a non-flowering crop, therefore if very low risk to bees.

This old damson orchard is a great source of suckers for replanting elsewhere. A member of @NSF_group Remembers picking damsons for pocket money as a child. The fruit were sent to Lancs to dye cloth

The Tawny Owl box in my barn is active again this year. It has been hot with the thermal imager every night for a week now. Hatching takes around 30 days so hopefully a little face will be peeking out, like this one in a previous year, around early May

An earthworm can apparently live for 7 years, have 1.2 million children and their casts have a perfectly neutral PH of 7 - miraculous little buggers
