New paper out! I led a study to use the stratigraphy of the north polar cap of Mars to find the local growth rate of the ice. It seems the upper ~500 m of ice were added very slowly in the region we studied. Is it a local anomaly? Is the cap very old? https://t.co/wwHscCsDur

@5quetzalcoatl yes exactly! learning how to ask the “right” question was something I learned (and still learning) over time because a lot of people are very happy to give some vague answer so they can convince you they’re doing more than what they actually are.
