I introduced a constitutional amendment months ago, actually, to fix birthright citizenship.
After the Supreme Court decision, that amendment matters more than ever. I'm asking my colleagues to take it seriously and help me get this passed.
YUGE NEWS: The Supreme Court correctly sided with female athletes and ruled in West Virginia v. B. P. J. that Title IX allows schools to keep men out of women's sports! Damn right & it’s about time we stop the insanity. 6-3 ruling because the crazies are still gonna crazy, but I’ll take it.
Upset with the SCOTUS decision today?
Call your senator at (202) 224-3121 and tell them to support my Constitutional Amendment to end Birthright Citizenship. We must protect the integrity of American citizenship.
GOP Rep. Chip Roy: “The United States Supreme Court manufactured out of thin air a complete abomination suggesting you can be a citizen by being born on our dirt, leaving us NO other choice but to STOP all immigration.”
Feels like a good time to remind everyone we have a sitting Supreme Court justice who says she doesn't know what a woman is because she's not a biologist 🤡🤡🤡
The idea that a pregnant woman from Guatemala can sprint across the US border, have the baby 30 minutes after arriving here, and the baby is magically a citizen of the US, is one of the most retarded and indefensible notions ever conceived
The 14th Amd was never intended to allow any non-citizen to confer citizenship on her child (& thereby skip the line) by delivering the baby here. This Court majority - esp the squish conservatives - all too afraid of being called “racist” to find accordingly.
Justice Jackson, Kagan, and Sotomayor ruled against women having equal protection under the law.
Liberal women, yet again, prove to be the biggest hurdle women face.
Nithya Raman even LOST her own district (CD-4) to Spencer Pratt and Karan Bass, but you expect us to believe she beat them BOTH by winning 40% of the vote in the rest of the city by mail-in ballots? 🧐
