Something which seems mundane to one person can inspire another. To some dreams represent unmeaning randomness whilst for others they imply the existence of other worlds. Everything and nothing can appear ordinary because ordinary is just an illusion.
Intrusive thoughts are hooks which try to bait and snag awareness. A quieted mind has to be an indifferent, unreacting one. Bad and noisy thoughts in the mind creates a diffuseness and weakness in our power, it wastes our energy.
The logic of the alkaline diet is that our bodies are hydroelectric. The hydrating foods have alkaline forming minerals which add to cell structure and electricity. Healthy cells have gel-like water and crystal hexagon structures. Cancer cells don't have this, they're dry.
In Ingo Swann's observations the aura displays its own separate intelligence which only sometimes filters into conscious awareness. For example people's auras can attract or repel before they meet. Auras react when someone looks at a person even if they don't notice.
Without self-observation we don't necessarily ever become aware of the bases of our moods and personality. It is taken as a given that we just are, or must just accept, whatever our mood happens to be.
Just a small amount of everyday electricity can be fatal. Yet people survive being directly struck by lightning which is unfathomably more powerful. Energy is deeply mysterious.
With self-observation you see how mechanical thoughts and feelings are. That they just happen and are so changing and fleeting, like gusts of wind. Like for most of the day the mind's a receiver like a radio. Except for moments of flashing insight, self-awareness and silence.
It's so weird how scents and flavours which artificially mimic natural ones can be synthesised from petroleum. We might not know what this oil actually is, it might not be biotic waste. Bizarre how our world runs off the refining of this toxic, kind of foul earth secretion.
Apparently some artists who have suffered right-brain damage have lost their ability to depict full shapes and forms. One artist could not draw an entire clover leaf. Instead he drew the three leaves of the clover next to each other.
From Colin Wilson's book Super Consciousness
Intuitive certainty, when one immediately knows a thing, implies there are levels to the mind, and some are outside space/time. People have insights in peak experiences or drug trips and afterwards can't explain them since they no longer have the consciousness which received them
If a mere drug can induce radically altered perceptions and moods why can't sheer Will? Passivity is subconsciously accepted. Moods and emotions can be made or at least fought for. And why should there be any principle limit to the heights of natural highs and positive emotion.
Esotericism says the noisiness of the mind decreases energy and disables or blocks other cognitions. Ones more associated with intuitive and inspirational thinking.
