America isn't a country. It is a white supremacist settler state morphed into an all encompassing imperial behemoth with an insatiable appetite for the infinite. More land, more resources; more, more, more; endlessly expanding westward— consuming everything in it's wake. To dominate. To exploit. To profit. It will capture the Moon and Mars after it has ravaged those places that remain untouched on our planet. And obliterate the last few of those who defy its hegemonic mandate.

The very idea of America was made possible through the logic of genocide and ethnic cleansing in order to assure the dominance of whiteness and the implementation of settler control over land/ resources. Expansionism never ceased— imperialist capitalist violence was implemented globally after there was no more land to conquer. They stretched to the Caribbean and into Central and South America; into the Pacific and Asia elsewhere.

Since it's inception, white supremacist ultra-nationalism and fascistic violence have informed every fibre of America's societal function. This was the logic which was first used to seize the land, that was then exported abroad— today we see this in how its policing and militarism feed into each other.

The entire imperial apparatus must be dismantled, in order to secure peace and the collective future of our world.

Sad to hear Ozzy died today. When I was in high school I discovered Sabbath. “War Pigs” was terrifying and mesmerizing at the same time. It was Ozzy’s voice that took me away to a dark universe. A great escape. Then when The ‘Blizzard of Ozz’ record came out I was instantly a fan. Randy Rhoads was an influence on me to play lead guitar. Luckily I got to play on the song “Immortal” on the last record. Thanks for the music, Ozzy it makes our journey in life better. Mike McCready
