I called a first-language-Russian woman of my acquaintance and discussed this tweet with her. I will try to summarize her response.
"Do not get involved with an Eastern European woman. Go sit down somewhere and STFU. If you cannot handle it, you cannot handle it; it does not matter her career path. She could be a maid.
"Her career has nothing to do with it. You are insecure. You are pathetic and she is Eastern European. She will not put up with pathetic loser male whore bitch who whines on fucking twitter.
"She was passionate. She could have a job picking up trash along the road. Her profession has nothing to do with it."
In the end, @alpharivelino was right—never date a lawyer if you want something serious.
1.5 years together. 6 continents. 30 countries.
Van life, cacao ceremonies, music festivals, Mile High Club, surfing, scuba diving, motorcycles, rented villas and penthouses, meeting families, drugs, deep conversations, sex in places we could’ve been arrested, all over the world.
And that’s just the start. We did everything together. We talked about building the most beautiful life and family together all the time.
But the only thing we did more than try all life has to offer… was argue.
I’m resting too long at the gym? Argument.
I forgot a bottle of water? Argument.
I laugh at a joke on my phone when she’s working and distract her? Argument.
I say I want the Ukraine war to end? That becomes: “So you want Russia to invade Estonia?” (Her mother country). Not joking.
Politically, she was moderate—supported CDU in Germany—but everything political became personal to her. Even a take on tariffs could spiral into a multi-day ordeal about how I didn’t care about Europe, didn’t care about her suffering (under these tariffs from last week? Huh? Yeah really) and how my support of the cruel heartless mean Trump is a moral stain on me.
And once it started, that was it—she wouldn’t let it go.
Couldn’t de-escalate it.
Didn’t want to.
Neither “I’m sorry” nor a reasoned counterpoint could stop her.
She had to be right.
Had to win.
Had to make her case like we’re in court.
Had to keep going until I either broke down or blew up and left.
Then, 1–2 days later: softness, apologies, emotional reconnection.
We’d get maybe 3 days of peace.
Then something else would trigger it all over again.
Like clockwork.
No matter how spiritual, intellectual, or “evolved” our toolbox got—nothing changed the cycle.
I tried to end it probably 10 times. Physically left 3 times.
But… she’s a lawyer.
Always knew how to make it sound like this time would be different.
Roped me back in with new hope every time, and some emotional arm-twisting too.
Until now. The last ember’s out.
She was the most special woman I’ve ever met up to now.
But “special” doesn’t mean “lifelong partner.” It doesn’t mean someone you’d even want to build a real life with.
I’m grateful for all the experience—but I wouldn’t do it again. Especially not when I want to build something lasting.
Lessons here:
- Listen to Rivelino. Seriously. Don’t test it yourself unless you actually get off on conflict. Don’t date a lawyer.
- Get your astrological compatibility checked early.
I joked 5 minutes after we met: “Oh you’re a Gemini? We can never work.”
It was supposed to be just a classic false disqualifier, basic game.
Turns out… yeah. Nailed it early.
Every problem we had? Already in our compatibility charts, waiting for us to dance (or yell) them out.
It was all there - what works between us and what doesn’t. Clear as day from our birth charts, and lived out as if to a script in real life.
Same with every ex btw. Test it out yourself if you can get full birth times and places from your exes - you’ll be reading exactly what your old relationship was, so close to a T it’s striking.
Astrology is pattern recognition, based on the fundamental bioenergetics of the universe. Do we understand it 100%? No. But is it a very real and powerful tool to find the right match for you, someone who is constitutionally hardwired to just get you better? Yes, unironically. Treat it that way
Lastly - people don’t change, not really, especially not their fundamental characters and ingrained ways of thinking.
Day 1 is who they are.
Don’t try to fix, save, or wait.
She’ll still be the same person a year of your best effort later.
Decide fast. Move on.
So yeah—grateful for all that I had, and ultimately to the woman who opened so many doors for me.
But if you want peace, understanding, and a future that doesn’t terrify you (for very real reasons)?
Listen to @alpharivelino: Don’t date a lawyer.
Yo boi is finally free.
Oh, Lord of Loneliness,
drowning in candleflame,
sitting with your cup of raw spirits
at a back table in the Cantina de Flor Negra
in Nada Concepción,
spittle and mezcal dribblings
beaded up on your mustache ... Listen, this night is a black border around the photograph of life,
this night is a strip of blindness across the eyes of the condemned. Let me wander in it a while,
let me find some softness there ...

Alcoholics Anonymous. At a bar ordering carryout food. Drinking a diet soda. Keeping an eye on the liquor bottles in case they levitate themselves toward my mouth.
Not a bad time to review my daily religious reading.
@grok@eugyppius1 No need for any of that. Physically fit appearance, increased focus and reduced "food noise" -- these are natural areas for human competition.
@eugyppius1 I understand that this is a disclaimer, expressing hatred and abhorrence toward anyone attempting to create "a superior or more gifted population" (words from a chat with @grok )
@eugyppius1 That Old Time Religion used to say Gluttony was a sin. I'll keep wondering if this is a civilization problem or a religious problem. https://t.co/C9kNC1BJk4
@eugyppius1@xwanyex Key legal argument is "I''m not a casino." OP is accepting money on game of chance in his residence. This is an easy case for a prosecutor. And yes I know lawyers, so maybe this question is really about the status of one's soul 🙂
@eugyppius1@turincomplete Working or exercising all the time -- what Germans are known for anyway. I'm accomplishing that w/o drugs but I'm starting to realize how Asian I am -- Filipino who helps Whites inject this stuff 🙂

@eugyppius1 AIUI @grok tells me that our Amish only educate until 8th grade, but have to pay taxes like everyone else. So I guess by 8th grade they're working to support that managerial system.
