the flaws can be recognized within moment of scanning the image… but it’s cool im more than happy to be the “0.0001%” that takes more than 5 seconds to look at something if it means i have this magical cognitive ability (/s) to recognize when something is inconsistent or wrong.
most designers don’t spend their time learning their craft to create content that gets viewed for 5 seconds anyway. if that’s the type of content you want, then ai art is perfect for you and nobody is trying to take that away. you’re yapping at the wrong person, for the wrong reason, settle down.
@DizzyUtd@ry_brodeur i actually think this graphic and the way you stood behind it so confidently validates a lot of the points i made elsewhere in this thread. ty fr.
decent would be exactly how i describe this. styling isn’t very inspired and the large image of the players in the back don’t really match one another in style or tonal value.
that being said, it does its job i guess, making “decent”. not “bad”. that’s me being generous, mind you.
i won’t get into the poor use of the word “cope” here, though. i can presume you’re not a person who cares much for detail anyway. 🤷♂️
seriously tho, anybody could steal a prompt, this doesn’t impress me all that much.
ai editing is catching up, for sure. just not at the right level yet. still suffers from pixel loss and degraded tonal values.
even if it’s good enough for social posting, that isn’t really where this type of thing matters.
on the other hand, graphic designers could certainly fix an image like this. part of why I don’t think they’re cooked.
ive met plenty of extremely talented designers with no taste at all. they can take direction really well and output absolute gold, the same designers working without direction have nowhere to go. doesn’t make them better or worse, just a different lane for where their career will go.
this same principle can be applied to somebody generating ai art with prompts.
