@PhysicalVersion@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 I’ve been watching it for 25+ years. A miss timed trip is also always a foul by the rules you’re pointing to. Salah was between the player and the ball
@Nofedsonsight@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 Yes but he was tripped when he was between the ball and the defending player. A miss timed trip is also always a foul even if light and unintentional
@PhysicalVersion@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 One was a trip the other was a step. Both light in nature but both should either not be called or be called. I don’t like either team nor care for either team
@MBacquance@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 Salah had a better chance at the ball before the Argentinian when the ball at the moment of the swipe. Like I said I think it’s light as hell and shouldn’t be a foul but if you call the normal action of a small step of the side of the foot then this should also be called
@Nofedsonsight@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 A slight step of the foot happens all the time. Even if the swipe was light you swiped both of his feet and the ball wasn’t even there. By rule that is also a foul if you want to get technical
@PhysicalVersion@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 Because it’s a part of the game when the game is literally kicking a ball the entire time. You’re going to have moments where there are slight steps of the feet. He didn’t purposefully do it plus it wasn’t anything hard. I don’t care for either but a swipe of the legs is equal
@IamTitanium945@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 Where was the ball when salah got his leg swiped. I think both aren’t fouls but one was a shirt grab which happens all the time and is never called + a step on the side of his foot. The other was a swipe of the legs when the ball was on the other side of the player after contact
@daneelOlivawOk@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 Both shouldn’t have been fouls. All I’m saying is if you want to call Licha getting foul then salah should have as well because salah was between the ball and the defender when he had his leg swiped no matter how much he then tried to draw a foul even if light
@PhysicalVersion@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 Once again you’re being dense. Both should not be fouls. Both were light ass touches. If you want to make that case then after salah initially loses the ball he was in position right after between the ball and the defending player which means he could only play the ball after
@MBacquance@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 He had the ball challenged but the rebound of the ball was right next to him in which salah was between the ball and the defensive player. He was the only one who could make a play on the ball and he went down trying to draw a penalty after the swipe.
@XfXoyOMHB548022@TunesFooty@TheOtherNew@Kasparov63 I’m not even a fan of either team and I want to say I never think this was a foul. All I’m saying is it felt like the foul on Martinez also wasn’t a foul and they felt very similar in impact/nature of the “foul”
