wrote a deal-log git that categorizes all the opportunities I come across X, IRL, etc into a record that is standardized… and most importantly easy to launch from my phone.
So now I can go back in 6 months and ask my self why did I invest in Hot Pickle futures
I don’t think people realize how absurd this is. Scottish runner Josh Kerr just broke the mile world record in 3:42.66, an average speed of 16.2 mph. Most people couldn’t even briefly reach that speed, let alone sustain it for an entire mile.
Don’t let your kids schooling get in the way of their education.
Four quotes my kids know cold:
Williams win because we never quit.
Failure is feedback and the best way to learn.
Freedom is the courage to be disliked.
The greatest lie in the world is that you can’t change.
Lot of people butt hurt about my take re war on distillation. A couple points:
A) if you’re not American I give zero fucks about your opinion on the topic
B) this is not a moral argument. This is a hard power argument.
C) I am aware of the argument re how this helps the entire ecosystem ex-labs. I disagree because
D) I work backwards from the premise that the only way we can navigate the political blowback that will come from AI nuking jobs is by gatekeeping frontier access in order to push job losses onto non Americans and push economic rent towards American corps so we can tax them to pay for UHI
If China successfully commoditizes the frontier then not only does capex slow at a systems level but the political repercussions will be impossible to navigate.
That takes precedent over all else.
No I don’t trust Dario. No I don’t trust Sam. No I don’t like concentration of power.
But I understand that being an adult is choosing from a selection of sub-optimal outcomes.
And again I approach everything from the question of what is best for Americans.
I’m honest about it. I’m unapologetic about it. If you don’t like it the unfollow button is right there.
