It is now possible to make narrative AI movies—and I have done it.

I am excited to announce the release of Valley of Shadow an entirely AI-generated 6-minute short film depicting the horrors of World War I.

Written and directed/crafted by myself, Valley of Shadow is the first narrative AI production to attempt a period-accurate film, integrating Hollywood-level pre. & post-production with state-of-art AI filmmaking tools.

The project was produced through an entirely new filmmaking method involving 30+ distinct AI tools which I have developed at my rising venture SUBVERUM (https://t.co/nt9FrvlwLx)—where I am pioneering a new frontier of filmmaking with methods which utilize SOTA technologies while maximizing creative control. The goal: to create beautiful, intentional films which stand out.

The project was created for @Manalive_Media (https://t.co/ezf0Uh5F1X) as a proof-of-concept for their upcoming inaugural project—the live-cinema production Death, War, Poets, a “high-wire” act to be performed live in France 2026, and streamed on-demand across the world.
