Hi, First of all, I want to say that I'm a big Xbox fan. I really appreciate the work your teams do, and I'd like to share an idea that I believe could benefit both Xbox and its community.
I completely understand that Xbox is a business and needs to make money. That's exactly why I'm surprised that some opportunities don't seem to be fully explored.
A great example is the Deadpool & Wolverine controller with the humorous "cheek" design. It was creative, memorable, and generated a lot of attention online. However, as far as I know, it was only available as a giveaway.
Why not turn these kinds of collaborations into real collector products? Imagine opening pre-orders for a limited period—three days, one week, or however long you decide. Fans could order as many as they want during that window, and the controllers could be sold as premium collector editions for €150–€200 instead of the usual controller price. I genuinely believe many fans would happily pay for unique, officially licensed designs.
Another idea concerns special edition Xbox consoles. The recent transparent green anniversary Xbox looks incredible, but many existing Xbox owners won't buy an entirely new console just for a different shell. These special editions would have a much bigger impact if they were available when a new Xbox launches. Alongside the standard console, you could offer several premium collector editions with exclusive designs for fans who want something truly special.
I also think Xbox could make special controller collaborations a regular event—perhaps every three months with major franchises, movies, or games. It would keep excitement high throughout the year while creating products that collectors would love.
Thank you for taking the time to read my ideas. Whether or not they are considered, I wanted to share them because I truly care about the Xbox brand and would love to see even more creative collector products in the future.
