Glad we’re ending the war in Iran . think it’s pretty clear it was a strategic failure , but we’re taking the least worst option. We could have doubled down with a ground invasion and maybe opened the strait but been stuck there forever.

I know it’s still a little up in the air still , the peace could fall apart.

But The cost of ending the war appears to be big concessions to Iran in terms of their nuclear program and funds unlocked for them.

We took a long shot at full regime change and it didn’t pan out , this is the price we pay it seems for taking that shot and missing .
