The death of TV started when the Big Studios and Distribution ecosystem was killed in favor to self release everything under each studios distribution platforms. (HBO Max, Paramount Plus, Disney+, etc.)

YouTube owns distribution now. Why fight it by spending billions on building out infrastructure that costs more than the content it’s self.
