Woodward earned a 62–61 win over Gainesville to advance to the AAAAA State Championship after leading most of the game before Gainesville took a late fourth-quarter lead. On the final possession, Jarvis Hayes drove and kicked it to Myles Hayes for the game-winning three. Myles led Woodward with 17 points and four threes while also creating turnovers defensively. Jarvis finished with 15 points and impacted the game with rebounding and playmaking. Donovan Johnson ran the offense well and hit a clutch three the possession before the game winner, while Bentley Lusakueno battled foul trouble but still helped by stretching the floor and protecting the rim #keyent #hoopseen

Leah DeWitt and Tori Thompson went head-to-head in Round 1 of the state playoffs and delivered a battle that lived up to the moment. Both guards competed with high intensity from start to finish, trading buckets and raising the level of play on every possession. Tori Thompson led Hillgrove High School to a 62–56 victory, finishing with 21 points while scoring efficiently inside and knocking down two threes. Leah DeWitt answered with 25 points — 24 coming in the second half — heating up from deep with three threes well beyond the arc, while also scoring in the midrange and attacking the rim. A high-level matchup between two competitors who left it all on the floor #keyent #hoopseen
Milton secured a strong 69-52 win over Lanier behind a dominant performance from Solomon Bratton, who poured in 28 points to lead all scorers. Bratton set the tone offensively, attacking the basket and finishing through contact while staying efficient throughout the game. Jackson Harrison added 22 points, catching fire from beyond the arc and knocking down six three-pointers to stretch the defense. With balanced scoring and consistent pressure on both ends, Milton controlled the tempo and pulled away to seal the victory.
Maynard Jackson High School came out firing and never looked back in a dominant 73–48 win over Creekside High School. Dave Williams set the tone early, knocking down three triples in the first half and shooting efficiently to finish with 19 points. Jayden Johnson brought a physical edge, attacking the paint for tough buckets through contact and electrifying the crowd with two slam dunks on his way to 10 points. Braylen Johnson added 12 points, helping seal a complete team performance that showcased scoring balance and relentless energy from start to finish.
