@ImogeneTheVQ "I can't legally charge you for this, I'm not licensed." Can't stress enough that he's not a sanctioned psychiatrist anymore. He could and would still help, but it wasn't legal.
@segaverdesang "Really two? Wow, I've been in so many. Even before coming to Gotham actually," he snorts. He was really fiercely bulled as a kid, so he's been beat up a lot, if not by his great grandmother, then by the kids at school. He couldn't catch a break.
Stepping in through the door.
@segaverdesang "I'm sure it has it's pros and cons like anything else." When he was able, he got into the car and buckled up.
"What's the best part of being a vampire?"
@ImogeneTheVQ - It's why abuse victims take so long to get out of abusive situations, the brain craves that familiarity. A safe environment without violence sounds terrifying to a brain used to violence."
@ImogeneTheVQ "It's certainly a start.
It's very normal for change, even good change, to feel bad at first, that's normal. The brain seeks familiarity and sometimes that familiarity is damaging but the brain doesn't care because it's familiar. -

@ImogeneTheVQ "Factually speaking, it's incorrect. I agree that people need things to have reason, they need it to make sense. That rationalization that there must be something and it must be necessary.
But factually; it's incorrect. Bad things happen to -
// If you think a Jon Neart isn't currently in the works, you'd be wrong. Just gotta make him his glasses and sweater.
And obviously his mask, can't leave him without that.
@ImogeneTheVQ "Why? I can guarantee I'm a worse person than you, so why do you deserve it but I don't? What are you punishing yourself for? What's your crime?
Because if we compare notes, I can promise my crimes are far worse than your crimes."
@ImogeneTheVQ "Mm. So then I deserve what happens to me, by that logic. I deserve my depression, my disabled body, my scars." He walks with a limp, and should probably be using a cane more than he actually does. Living with disfigurement and chronic pain.
Some of it he did deserve.
