@Jesnypenny I have to throw in Desperate Housewives as an exception to the rule… but for the most part absolutely 💀

How are people surprised about the government alert about not lighting fires when there is a literal wildfire ongoing…(not that the siren didn’t also startle me too…)

Tamara had in ear issues during the jury show and they might not give her many points, so everyone who plans on voting please spare some votes for her so Montenegro 🇲🇪 finally makes the final aftrr 11 years. This is our last chance!!

🇲🇪 Montenegro First Rehearsal:

Montenegro’s Tamara Živković delivers a dark and theatrical performance of Nova Zora. Dressed in a striking black corset with jeweled details and a dramatic ruff collar, she begins the act lying on the stage, carried by shadowy figures, before rising and taking full control.

Joined by four dancers in black with contrasting white collars, the performance unfolds in three acts marked by Roman numerals. Each section features intricate and intense choreography, constantly shifting in style and formation.

The staging enhances the drama with deep red lighting, flashes of blue, and effects like thunder, lightning, and lava, creating a visually powerful and unforgettable show.

It’s a performance that takes place across three acts, signalled to the audience by roman numerals appearing on the screen behind her. Act I. Act II. Act III.

🇲🇪 Montenegro — First Rehearsal:

We can confirm that her costume for this first rehearsal is…similar to Montesong, but also something else entirely.

The mask remains until the first bridge into the chorus, but the white dress now has a huge white train and a built-in panel of structured fabric that creates a circular frame from above her head to below her knees. So imagine the circle that Vladana wore in 2022, but make it bigger and an integral part of a pure white dress, with Nina’s red lipstick being the only colour. There are some camera shots taken from the side where she almost looks like a swan - it’s VERY dramatic.

The LED wall features white light particles that come together to form swirling shapes on the LED wall, and there’s some very clever use of blue and white lighting that builds through the song. This performance is also less static than we saw at Montesong, helped by a much bigger stage – Nina starts in the centre, then walks to the frame stage for the big vocal finish.

Not loving the new update… Almost at a 900 day streak on Duolingo when suddenly the entire Portuguese course content changes, with most the words and phrases being different to what it original taught me… fml 🙈🙃
