💪 Mitzvot and light after nighttime attacks in Amsterdam!

Chabad Rabbi Yanki Jacobs helps an Israeli man put on tefillin at an emergency shelter set up following a vicious Antisemitic attacks against Jews in Amsterdam following a soccer game.

Chabad emissaries coordinated hundreds of volunteers from the Jewish community in Amsterdam, picking up stranded and wounded Jews from across the city all, and bringing them to the shelter. From there, they were able to fly out on an emergency return flight to Israel. Others will be spending shabbat with Chabad.

Chabad emissaries were on hand to help those who wanted to put on tefillin, as well as to provide words of comfort for both visiting Israelis as well as shocked members of the Dutch Jewish community.
