Jackie Aina speaks out in support of Olandria after seeing people mock her desire to be a positive representation for Black women. Jackie questions why Black women are criticized whether they speak up, stay silent, or simply show up as themselves. She emphasizes that Black women in entertainment deserve to be celebrated for their efforts rather than constantly ridiculed.
My irl friends, who've never watched LI, liking Ola content and DM-ing me asking who she is and saying they wanna get into the field to defend her cause she's sweet. Oh how God has blessed me.
Please if you’re coming online and seeing any discourse about Olandria do not respond..dont go quoting tweets from hours ago just let it die down,Yall are keeping us stuck in a loop pls🙏Olandria & Quen comes out soon that should be our focus
Thank you dolls🙏🎀
I know we deadass say this every few months, but we really need and overhaul. We gotta tighten up. When she opens this app, it should be edits, pics, laughter, etc. Can we at least try for the remainder of 2026.
R u guys not tired!? Stop with the fucking bullshit! You're not in charge of other people. You control yourself & that's it. Make sure you're being kind & considerate. & when you come across people who are not being kind & considerate.. block/mute/IGNORE! Do what Ola would do!
Multiple shipper leaks and still not one derogatory or bad message about Olandria… 😭 no harassment or hate about anybody Just shippers stanning and supporting both. It is well
We have to remember that Olandria is a real person with feelings. Sometimes I wonder if we really stop to think about how all of this affects her. The things we say and do can have an impact in ways we may not even realize. We can hold people accountable without losing sight of the person at the center of all of this.
We’ve become so caught up in defending ourselves, proving our points and reacting to one another that we’ve lost sight of what brought us together in the first place. Olandria brought so many people together who might have never crossed paths otherwise. It’s heartbreaking to see that connection get buried beneath so much division.
We can acknowledge when someone has done something wrong without adding to the hurt. We can stand up for what’s right without losing our compassion. And we can disagree without forgetting that we’re all human.
If certain people or conversations are affecting your peace, it’s okay to block, mute or distance yourself. You don’t have to engage with everything or respond to everyone. Protecting your peace doesn’t mean you have to get caught up in the chaos.
There are no winners when everyone is so focused on being right that we forget about the hurt being caused along the way.
Olandria deserves better, and so does this community. It’s sad to see something that brought so many of us together become something that keeps pulling us apart. I hope we can take a step back, reflect on ourselves and remember why we’re here in the first place.
Olandria first. Olandria always. 🤍
