Man, I miss the days before social media; when the return of a character would shock us, as the whole nation found out for the first time collectively at 8:28PM on a random Thursday! That shock value is completely gone now.
Mine is the SeSotho word for forgive me “nthswarele” which makes me think of the grace that’s needed to forgive as the person who wronged you asks you to “hold this for me”

I'm struck by how quietly groundbreaking their storyline was. At a time when lesbian representation was still rare on mainstream television, SABC audiences were watching a Black lesbian couple navigate love, friendship, visibility and the courage it takes to live openly.
