I'm struggling pretty bad financially because of some IRL stuff going on right now.
My mods will always be free to use but, if you can afford it, please consider giving just $1/month on my Patreon. It would help me out a lot! (link in bio)
@folev_333 Make sure you're using the latest world map version. If you already have a singleplayer map, use the "Convert All Regions" setting to generate map data that can be copied to multiplayer via file manager. Otherwise, start a non-world-save map from the beginning.
@Shade_Guye Although, as a weird coincidence, I'm currently working on an update that might enable you to add player names to categories. It's not the main point of it, but it should be quite simple to also add that at this point I think.
@Shade_Guye Of course, you don't have to disable the entity radar on the server side, and simply turn off players on the client side, if you want to keep mob radar. "Tracked" players (e.g. Argonauts party) will still be displayed. Anyone can just change client-side configs though.
@Shade_Guye Everything in the entity radar category screen is documented to the maximum extent inside the screen itself. This isn't something that you can do.
You can however disable entity radar fully in the common config in your server directory and then install/use Argonauts or FTB Teams.
@KyleTsetso It's so annoying how they think they've made something original with this "rock paper scissors" parody of anime. Real anime has already done this thousands of times. This one is unbearably corny, inaccurate and out of touch.
@AndroSusnjara@ShadesPeanut @Mild_Artism @EZE3D Yeah, but if Nintendo generated an image on Mario, they still own Mario. They still can do without specific images being copyrighted.
And if just parts of an image are generated, not the whole image is public domain because of the copyrighted parts.
@AndroSusnjara@ShadesPeanut @Mild_Artism @EZE3D I think they simply need to "transform" the generated image enough or base it off already copyrighted material they own to copyright it. And copyright is always reshaped to benefit corporations, so we can lose this too.
@ShadesPeanut @Mild_Artism @AndroSusnjara@EZE3D Perhaps dataset creation will become a "job" but because one large dataset can be used universally with a little bit of fine-tuning, that's not enough to compensate the lost jobs, not even close. And they're just stealing the datasets right now anyway.
