The app itself is distributed through the Microsoft Store:

Payments, updates, and everything else are handled there
Publishing a Store app is always a painful experience, but at least this time it was approved in a day

@RoaringHammy I have an emergency fund for 3 months in liquid cash and if i move to a cheaper country I could stretch it to 6.
Pretty safe I think, but finding a new (remote) job would be a challenge honestly 😕
Microsoft just unveiled its second RTX Spark-powered Surface PC, and this one is a new form factor for the brand! The company is making a Surface mini PC, but it's aimed solely at developers.
The Surface RTX Spark Dev Box features 128GB unified memory, 1 petaflop of AI compute, and is designed to run on-device AI models all day. This isn't the first Windows dev kit by Microsoft, but it is the first to be branded a "Surface PC."
Like with all RTX Spark devices right now, no word on pricing or availability outside "later this year," but don't expect it to be cheap. https://t.co/geprxgoVLc
Microsoft has announced a new experimental version of Windows Terminal, called "Intelligent Terminal."
What makes it intelligent?
Do you really have to ask?
Using Microsoft Execution Containers (https://t.co/2growXMNL3), you can run OpenClaw natively on Windows, and the sandbox prevented deletion of all files on the Desktop. Running OpenClaw more safely in an enterprise is "pretty dope". :) https://t.co/wW2Y3dUm9r
WSL now has built in Linux container support with both a CLI and an API, announced today and coming soon by the end of the month!
You can read more about it here (While our official docs are building :) )

So much good stuff at Microsoft BUILD.
I’m too lazy to list it all, but with the new ARM devices packed with NPUs and all these updates,
I hope the era of the Windows developer desktop is upon us

People really have no idea what Windows widgets are
They expect something to be shown when they install the widget, basically a registrar for it into the widget library
I probably need some kind of onboarding
@CasJam I think there will be more local-first models and local-first usage with more NPUs,
though this might be limited or completely destroyed by RAM prices
