I had hindalco 450 pe 45k qty expired ITM on dec 30th. Position was not squared off, as there were no buyer for the option. I don't have any required margin or shares in my demat Or bank acc.

Broker sending a contract note to the client after 18 days from the trade date!!! Is this as per the rules? Kindly enlighten me!
Received my contract note of 30th dec hindalco option trade settlement just today at 4.30 pm

@Champakiyo Sir around 12-13 lakhs. Broker has settled the trade in same day for 202.6 lakhs and then bought shares worth 213 lakhs to compensate the same in my profile. 213-202.6 + other charges is being charged to me.

@Krash626262 @ICICI_Direct The math is actually simple. This is the settled amount of the trade (option exercised at 450 rs) -
The contract note of purchase of 45150 qty shares (buying done by broker) = will be my charges (approx 12+ 1 lakh penalty looks like).
