If you didn’t make it work with your high school or college gf (or missed out on young love entirely), you might as well resign yourself to being single for life. You need that history of growing up together for a relationship to last. It only gets worse from here on out.
Its still kind of wild to me how Hasan and Destiny knew Charlie Kirk on a first name basis, did political collab/debates with him, and still mock his murder. Shows how shallow they really are
BREAKING: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, holding a banner from the skyscraper's antenna reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace."
As of now it's unclear how the pair reached the top of the building as police work to get them down from the spire, 1,454 feet above the ground.
This is what honest people do when they get into positions of power in the government, but 99.9% are just addicted to the position. Think of all the people who have been lying to you, and those who are covering up for them.
Edward Snowden said it the best:
"When you say 'I don't care about the right to privacy because I have nothing to hide,' that's no different than saying 'I don't care about freedom of speech because I have nothing to say.'"
"Simply because you are following the law, doesn't mean that you'll be exempt from governmental interference in your private life."
Assume the movie had flopped and the director lost his entire $750,000 investment. How many crew members would have voluntarily returned their fees to help offset his loss?
This is the fundamental asymmetry in risk and reward. When someone puts up their own capital and shoulders the real financial risk especially in a high-failure industry like entertainment they alone bear the downside.
Yet the moment the project succeeds, suddenly everyone who was paid upfront wants a bigger piece of the pie. The same people who would not have shared in the loss now feel entitled to share disproportionately in the upside.
If you accept payment for your work regardless of outcome, you’ve already been compensated for your risk (or lack thereof). Why should the person who risked everything not be allowed to reap the rewards when their gamble pays off?
I used to date this girl who was very into the idea of being the best girlfriend ever and one of the ways she set out to accomplish this was by regularly waking me up by giving me head.
I’d often regain consciousness to the sensation of her initiating the act, which was great, but –– and I know this might surprise you –– after a while it got old.
Many mornings, I just wanted to sleep in for an extra hour rather than “rise” and shine at 6 am. Head is cool, but having your final hour of sleep stolen away does start to take a toll on a man after a while.
So at a certain point, I started to think maybe I should tell her to chill out a little. Like, hey, I see what you’re doing here and I love the spirit behind the commitment, but… maybe later, ya know?
Yet in the midst of that thought, I had an epiphany:
This isn’t really about me.
This girl is on a mission. Being the best girlfriend ever gives her an identity and purpose and meaning. Who am I to prioritize my own fleeting desires over her deeper needs? Getting my dick sucked at 6 am is about her.
So the wakeup head continued. Morning after morning. I never said a word. Because I am an incredible person.
This is what empathy is like, ladies. Many of you could use some.
Again, you may not like the UFC thing at the White House, but the moment you hung a giant pride flag from the columns and had half-naked “trans” activists exposing themselves on the lawn, you lost all right to complain about desecration.
True story, I was nominated for employee of the quarter for saving our company millions of dollars a month for rearchitecting a complicated legacy app
But they gave the award to a girl in HR because “she shows up every day with a smile on her face”
Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine.
In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted.
