The Ministry of Agriculture representative argued that if agricultural land is acquired for development projects, local authorities should also consider agro-industrial plots in their plan since Gokwe Town's economy is sustained by farming activities #DevelopmentProjects

The provincial Recommendations and Guidelines on Development Induced Displacements are useful in minimizing the destructive effects of development projects as they give room for negotiations between the authorities and the affected communities #displacementszw #DIDs
