You're partially right, but also not really capturing the reasons new media looks like a 2024 electoral map. Also disregarding some uncomfortable truths. It's clear you've never spoken to the other side. Let's consider some ideas:

Prior to new media, legacy media and social media were highly controlled by the left-wing and was used to lie, push left agendas, and denigrate/silence anyone with opinions right of Soros. The left literally forced "right-wing" people to start new media.

If the new media then became predominately controlled by right-wing personas, it is a direct result of those actions. The popularity of these new platforms should be a wake-up call to the left that your messaging and causes are terrible. But you yourself still contend that there is no problem with the messaging.

It doesn't pass the logic test: You control almost all of the media and use it to propagate your messaging -> The right creates new media sources to create their own town squares to share share their own messaging, suddenly all the viewership jumps to new media -> legacy media viewership experiences a continuing freefall, but there's no problem with the messaging?

Your thread is disingenuous. It tries to create this narrative that suddenly right-wing new media personas are "big media"? The Goliath in the David-and-Goliath story? It's literally the opposite and new media is winning because the messaging and tactics of the left suck, they don't promote freedom of ideas or expression (in fact they silence dissent), and they are outdated. People like David, not Goliath, and the shift in viewership show that obvious reality.

Personally, I hope you continue down this path. Refusing to understand the other side or the reality of the situation and instead substituting your own hasn't worked out well so far but, I'm happy to see you triple-down on it. FFS suddenly Russell Brand is "right-wing" because he isn't lock-step with the left. Keep it up!!
