@AI_EmeraldApple Are you seriously shocked by this? The original show literally had a self taught, blind girl as the best earthbender, a vegetarian pacifist monk, a sexist guy who had to learn from women, and Katara fighting tribal patriarchy in season 1. The universe has been like this for 20yrs

@a_nimeme25 Did you miss the whole "cataclysm wiped out society" part? Advanced bending gear is gone. They are using rustic, heavy containers because that's what's available. Nitpicking a post-apocalyptic society for not having lightweight cantimploras is wild.

@LegMan100 You're just an Aang fan, not an Avatar fan. Did you forget Aang was bending water and fire in Book 1 too? Basic bending is not mastery. Protagonists having early elemental access doesn’t dry up the story, it just shifts the plot to actual, complex challenges

@Fenrirtheicewo1 Hard disagree. Closing the portals was a 10,000-year-old temporary fix. Korra chose evolution over comfort. Was it messy? Yes. But without her choice, the Air Nation would still be extinct. She did what no other Avatar had the guts to do: actually unite the worlds
