[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

Hi, I'm Chris.

Blockchain Engineer, SaaS builder and Investor from the UK 🇬🇧 and based in Thailand 🇹🇭

I'd love to connect with founders, hackers, engineers, investors and traders who are into:

• Tech and AI
• Growth & marketing
• SaaS
• Finance

If that's you, let's connect!

One thing AI clearly hasn't fully mimicked yet is being genuinely laugh out loud funny. Will it ever get there?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@FattyNatsu But does it ever truly repair even if it bounces off rock bottom given what the bottom looks like? It's going to take decades minimum to fix IF a fix is possible. For England where I'm from, it's perhaps not possible at this point. One can hope though.... 🙏

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@finnbuilt @marclou i'm actually all for this account continuing as a comedy account 😂 laughing out loud

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@Gavin_McInnes Men should Jim Rickardsmaxx?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@DavidOndrej1 I was thinking the other day... if an AI still can’t effortlessly land jokes that makes you genuinely laugh out loud, can we still consider it AGI?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@FattyNatsu 100% brother.... sadly it is only the beginning... and neighbouring countries are going the same way. You chose the right country to escape to!

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@DavidOndrej1 I'm curious, what do you mean exactly? Like actual AI video avatars? Or real humans posting content about AI?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@PeterDiamandis Optimism is a state of mind. If you're optimistic, you will be happier and focus on the fruits of what can go right and not endlessly dwell on what can go wrong, and in turn you will approach life with more passion, and that in itself will create a higher chance of success.

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@theo Nice! If your users have issues finding your features though, that's something that desparately needs improving! but at least you already have the features done as you say!

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@Teknium Looks cool will have to join thanks! What are the main things you're researching?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@connyb @CleansedTweets Organized crime is huge there though. What do you mean?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

I hope 2027 is the year we get opus 5.5 level performance on local models with reasonable specs/prices. Is that too optimistic?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@vmkbuilds I REALLY want to be able to switch to local AI but it's just not worth it financially yet.

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

These days when I go to cafes all I see is a sea of claude and openAI windows 😂 has to be at least 50% everywhere i go

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

What is your strategy for ensuring that your largest codebases and projects that you've vibe coded / agentically engineered don't become an unmaintainable tangle?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

Anthropic have clearly been working really hard on reducing the time until the first token for their LLMs. There has been roughly a ~3X reduction in the last month which is incredible. Supposedly this is in large part due to making use of GZIP to compress conversations in order to reduce chatter between the client and the model.

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@ElitzaVasileva Most aren’t they’re just making it up for engagement lol

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@pmitu Lmao sounds about right; I feel like i'm posting into the abyss when i do serious posts and as soon as i start shitposting / replying i get a tonne of attention

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@milouistan Would be nice to charge AND use your phone while taking a poo right?

[Christopher Harrison @Xchrisharrison]

@JorisRood @marclou 'Claude replicate @marclou. Make no mistakes'
