• Simulated gear shifting controlled by paddle shifters: Simulates an eight-speed gearbox. Virtual rev limiter and gear-specific drag torque when changing gears. Pairs with Porsche's updated Porsche Electric Sport Sound feature, which adapts to the accelerator and brake pedals, changing the audio inside and outside the car in real time.
• Larger battery pack: Every Taycan now comes equipped with the previously optional $5,780 Performance Battery Plus, which offers 97 kWh of usable capacity, up from 83.7 kWh.
• Higher base price: Pricing for the Tacan now starts at $114,250, up from $108,050 for the 2026 model.
• Native NACS: Passenger side fast charging port now NACS native. Drivers side AC port remains the same (J1772).
• Smartphones can be charged wirelessly much faster, as the smartphone tray now supports magnetic ring technology and enables a charging power of up to 25 watts. This means a smartphone can be charged about 1.5x faster than before.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
