New to @zama, so I took time to actually understand FHE instead of repeating buzzwords. Here’s the cleanest way to think about it :

Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is one of those ideas that sounds impossible until you see it work.

In simple terms: FHE lets you compute on data without ever decrypting it.

Normally, data has to be decrypted to be processed → which exposes it.
With FHE, data stays encrypted before, during, and after computation.

How it works(simplified):
• Users encrypt data locally
• Computation happens on encrypted inputs
• Results remain encrypted
• Only authorized parties can decrypt the output

No node, validator, or smart contract ever sees the raw data.

Why this matters for blockchains:
• Private balances and trades
• Sealed-bid auctions without sniping
• Confidential governance and voting
• Compliance without surveillance

FHE doesn’t hide logic — it hides state, while keeping everything verifiable.

This is why teams like @zama are building with it:
Privacy by cryptography, not by trust.
