@jonnyboy@thsottiaux oh, i understand you. and you've every right to be upset! this is probably worse than not getting a reset at all, as i said in this other tweet:

@brianbriscoe_ Absolutely.
Worst: promise a reset at a future point, but don't deliver.
Better: reset immediately in the same tweet
Even not offering resets at all would be better than the current overpromise-and-underdeliver situation. @thsottiaux@OpenAI this is unbelievably lame.

@TimJayas because it makes OpenAI look much more generous than it actually is. A reset arriving 1 day before what-would-anyway-have-been, costs 1/7th as much.
@vansh22b@CutfeedTV Even if "most users have exhausted limits" were true: if the reset was anyway going to happen a day later, then this "reset" is only offering 1 day of value: so 1/7th. Just one example of where your estimation is likely to be woefully off-base.
@synopsi@erichstark Very cool - would you be open to share a technical doc (agent self-authored, of course) of what your stack looks like? Obviously with any high-value secret sauce bits removed. [Just realized AI-age means I can ask for docs instead of contributions via pull requests!]
