Ubisoft replaced the robotic hands on hip pose for Edward in this specific cutscene.

Yes, it's an improvement. However, Edward will always look a bit uncanny in the new content regardless of the stance, mostly because we aren't used to seeing him with robotic movement. Still got a lot of work to do there Ubisoft. Don't stop, thanks.
