🍟🍟
Instead of forwarding the part where you walk back your framing, you repeatedly forward a statement that only doubled down.
I responded to the initial statement and your response to me where you don’t clarify.
Take a moment to realize that your framing doesn’t remotely read as you just reminiscing or whatever you call that contribution 😭 hence you being addressed twice for how left it is in context.
🍟🍟🍟 say tracking issue without saying it.
Just like you’re unaware of the varied definitions of the word “argument” you also seem to not comprehend what took place in the video.
Try to keep up or as you said read it as many times as you need 💀:
The man gave an analogy to expose an inconsistency in the woman’s position
His actual position and the only one you can assert objectively (because he said it himself) is that he does not pay for the first date. Nothing more since it wasn’t explicitly stated
Choosing to not contribute to either stereotype, as well as the analogy he gave to explain the inconsistency in her position, does not translate to him demanding the gesture be transactional.
No one demanded anything except the woman expecting her meal paid for. She assumed and was wrong
He just doesn’t do it. Her pressing the issue prompted a comparative response
Your comments pivoted from his analogy and went left into objective analysis over something that didn’t actually happen making the assumptive remark that he possibly puts a dollar amount on the value of women because you simply failed to track the dialogue
It’s called reductio ad absurdum… educate yourself friend and take care 💐
😂😂 or maybe you’re interpreting the word “arguing” for its street definition.
You have a claim, and defended it. That’s an argument with my response being a rebuttal. Simple debate terms.
You want to speak about comprehension but don’t even comprehend the terms being used in discussion nor their varied meanings depending on context and use “unfortunately”
You can disagree if you want. That’s subjective.
Mind you, I’m not even defending the goofy who replied to you. 💀
I’m addressing what you said in accordance to the video.
Once again, failing to track. 🍟
Not the point he was making.
Emphasis on “point” he was giving an example of a crossed boundary.
The male stereotype is that paying for a meal = transactional.
The woman’s = broke 🥷🏾’s don’t deserve me. “Spend ts”
Both mentalities are wrong hence him **not** engaging.
Try to keep up.
@hatefulsly@DemonFramed You’re repeating yourself as if doing so makes it more sensible. The definition of insanity.
Arguing a point no one tried to combat initially. This is looking like a tracking issue. Man tried to give a teachable moment and you go left.
An analogy doesn’t imply intention. 🍟
@giantrichnl@Womenstea She figured out she had a discomfort, that’s enough to speak up to the person she **married** if they’ve established a strong foundation of the **basics** in a marriage.
Justifying it is just enabling poor relationship dynamics
As a man, you should be able to recognize that throughout the explanation, one of the most basic concepts of a relationship was neglected.
Imagine your partner failing to provide the basic concept of communication but then has no problem expressing these concerns to the internet.
The topic of discussion is accountability; accountability doesn’t look like this. Keep up gang.
By doing just that, open your mouth to your partner, not your phone.
“Hey babe, I’ve been feeling a lot of anxiety about xyz can we talk about that ?”
Or do we not understand how simple it is to speak ?
You sound like the type to do a person the same way, bottle up issues inside and not confide in the person that’s supposed to be your yellow.
That shows a lack of emotional intelligence as well as an extreme lack of social awareness. It effort to actively ignore an issue with your spouse for an elongated period of time. Not like it was accidental or like there aren’t resources to aid in situations just like this.
“I mean” do you just not care about your partner that much that you can’t say “hey I’m struggling with something and I think I need help navigating this” or take the steps to seek professional help outside of social media long after it’s too late ?
