Ok legends, quick honesty post.
Over the past couple of months, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on my experience since becoming active on X.
My reasons for starting were simple:
> Understand the crypto + social side better
> See the other side of KOLs
> Prove to myself that I could grow an account if I wanted to.
In under 2 months, I took the account to ~550 followers (pre-purge). So the experiment worked.
Now, the conclusions:
> I genuinely don’t enjoy X. The app feels broken and the algo is rough.
> Maybe it’s the dead market, but outside of InfoFi, most of CT barely talks about crypto.
> Growth for new accounts relies heavily on reply-guy tactics or space farming, so unless you’re posting consistently strong and original content (shoutout to accounts like @R2D2zen), your posts are ignored.
> Tied to the above point, your posts are mostly not shown to your followers.
> Given how the algo works, this basically turns into a 365 day grind.
Because of that, I’ve decided to scale back my activity and move into more of a watcher role.
I’ll use the time I’d normally spend here to:
> Take on more freelancing clients for my business.
> Build personal products
No drama and I am not quitting more just reallocating focus.
Stay safe, peeps.
Sorry for the long rant.
See you around.
@DreggNet Recently, just asked why sol and not eth (as eth is the tech choice usually) and what is the tokens purpose? Can you please unban me? My id is viperclio
@Jeremybtc This is everything that is wrong with the market. Everything was dead for weeks and then ansem decided to make some more money on our backs. Good catch for those who catched it though
