@GenePark Video game companies are getting away with economic murder. No other medium could pull this shit. They’re playing by rules from the cartridge era like that even applies today.
@HazzadorGamin Video game industry has been getting away with economic murder.
Imagine buying a DVD and it doesn’t work because you have the wrong DVD player.
All games should work on all hardware capable of running them for a single purchase.
@davidscottjaffe@NVIDIAGFN I don’t mind for slower single player stuff, but I also play fighting games and Souls games and streaming those would ruin them.
@JezCorden Too many admittedly PS people that don’t use Xbox love to talk about Xbox. They also don’t understand Xbox and try to hold it to an out of date model that Sony and Nintendo are gripping for dear life.
I have 1800+ games on Xbox. What am I supposed to do if they go away?
@horrormuseum There are performers I don’t like but I think it’s rude to call them out. They’re just doing their thing.
It’s why I no longer say something is bad. It’s just not for me.
@DMC_Ryan This is an inherent problem w/ people treating art like a product. They expect a return on their money & that’s now how art works. Its the reason reviews exist
& kids need their own stuff. He-man should have been a PG-13 dark fantasy for Millenials & Gen X. Let TMNT & others die
@JezCorden I’m playing games that I enjoy.
I think too many people become “fans” and care too much.
This kind of stuff happens at other entertainment companies but no one really gets upset if a movie studio restructures.
This attitude is unique to the games space.
