People looked at it and laughed, then scrolled to the next post, ever wondered where it actually came from?

That specific one came from the back of a stela in the Museo Egizio, Turin: Cat. 1456, the Stela of Djehutynefer, scribe of the treasury.

These so-called “ancient ahegao” are actually a set of symbol commonly found on 18th Dynasty Egyptian stelae. This set usually includes wedjat eyes, a shen-ring, a cup, and liquid signs, forming a funerary motif that invokes protection and libations for the deceased.
