@RennaCosplay In terms of like, ones that physically catch the surface. If you had a solid pour mold and bubbles settled in like a poorly vented spot, they'd still come up.
Start to finish, the entire process of making the gold Breach masks! This is actually a batch of six, so pretty solid project!
Masks are for @OXG_Esports and will be awarded as trophies in their upcoming Challengers Tournament.
Thanks again for commissioning me!
Starting off the new year with a finished project!
These came out beautifully - I'll post the full process next~

You really get an arm workout with this one.
I'm using @SmoothOn Onyx Fast here, since I wanted its better physical and thermal properties. But you can use pretty much any quick-setting resin

This style of mold making is often called a matrix mold, where you construct the mold shell first, assemble it around the master, then pour in the silicone to fill the void space.
These masks are going to be slush cast next!

@Manastorm@OXG_Esports I would flip it upside down, fill the undercuts with silicone, then flip it back over for the full pour. The silicone should bind to itself seamlessly.
The first step of a commission for @OXG_Esports! I'm making some gold masks for them as trophies for their Challengers Tournament in January.
This is printed as a buck, to be made into a one-side slush-casting mold.
My favorite way to add sturdiness to props. All the parts that slot onto the rod are similarly casted with another rod embedded, but those rods are smooth and greased to allow them to be pulled out.
