So my friend inspired me to make a cool design for an enemy sprite this is the final product. I call it the Bahamut Moth. It's based on the Baphomet Moth. What do you think? #RPGmaker#spritework#indiegamedev#indiegame#artwork
The biggest fear I have is promoting work related to long-term projects and finding that work repurposed by someone who has a greater pool of time and resources than I have. I'm aware that not putting yourself out stunts your growth, but it feels too risky to do these days.
I'd like to break out of a head space: How do creators in this day and age find the courage to post images of their projects without a crippling fear of theft of your work, whether though uncredited reposts, AI, or straight up copying your ideas?
@SerChansey I think the main draw I see that could help these areas mesh a bit better is placing shadows below your sprites. It would better ground your land-bound folks, and make flying enemies really float.
Maybe start with black shadows for simplicity's sake, and work from there.
Will a lesser fear of AI stealing my work encourage me to return to actually posting anything? Eh, depends on how things align.
Regardless, since it seems like the butter app is actually gaining some liftoff, you may see newer art (and some reposts) over there.
