I struggle with this and the solution is repitition
If you don't practice whatever little thing you learn, by the time you finish that course you'll feel like you wasted time
It's not entirely about learning till the end, it's about repeating/doing that small thing a few times
This month I made up my mind to go back to learning Backend and pick up where I stopped.
It’s been one week since I last learnt it and when I tried going back to continue from where I stopped, everything looked strange.
Honestly, It felt like I was hearing this for the first time 😪
If you’re learning something, learn it till the end, if you suspend it and try to come back later, it will be hard to catch up.
CLI coding tools are a short-term high and the novelty will fade eventually.
The entire reason there is a field called UI/UX is because of the cognitive load it takes to understand things on bad interfaces.
The next big thing with AI is better UIs in whatever form.
Tonight I am launching Coursified.
Honestly, the majority of what I know today, I learnt from YouTube. The content there is better than most paid courses out there.
But learning on YouTube was tough for a few reasons:
- Too many distractions
- No real guidance or structure
- Having to jump between platforms just to practice what you learn
- And the big one: no certifications to show for your work when applying for jobs
That’s why I built Coursified.

There is a free plan available, and discounts if you register with a student account.
Would love to hear what you think!
You can do hallelujah challenge if you believe it will make life easier for you, but this is not how to get a job at Bloomberg.
What you can do is go to LinkedIn and search for current employees at Bloomberg who have the role you want.
Pay attention to their profile, experience, skills, etc, and you’ll see a pattern. If you pay enough attention, you’ll see why you don’t currently work there. Also look at the requirements in the current open positions. If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll see the skill/experience gap.
Set a realistic timeline to close that gap. This means you’ll need to take courses, read books, build projects and connect with current employees.
This requires a lot of work. So I get it that manifesting like a marine spirit like this is easier.
Fake life is not faith!
I am not a Christian, but I’ll try to explain Hebrews 11 verse 1:
Faith itself is proof of the unseen. You don’t believe so it materialises in the physical realm. You believe because you identify with a different realm and in that realm, the thing you believe already exist. If you need to 'manifest' it like this with the hope that it will become, then you have doubt in your heart. There is no 'becoming' state.
You believe it because it exists. You don’t believe it to exist.
If you believe it exists, you’ll act like it, behave like you have that reality already and this includes acting, studying and living like you already have the role at Bloomberg, not this fake life you think represents faith.
This is why "faith without works is dead".
I wonder what they teach you people in church these days.
