After the Belgians created the ethnic classifications "Hutu" and "Tutsi" that culminated in the 1994 genocide, the Belgian "peacekeepers" immediately left Rwanda fall into chaos.

It was the Ghanaian peacekeeping contingent led by General Kwami Anyidoho who chose to stay in Rwanda and protect the lives of over 30,000 of their African brothers and sisters in Rwanda.

The solutions to African insecurity and instability issues always come from Africans themselves. There is no foreign saviour who loves you to the point of risking his life to protect you. There were 3 countries on that peacekeeping mission - Belgium, Bangladesh, and Ghana.

The Belgians and Bangladeshis left immediately the chaos started. Only the Ghanaians stayed, because only Africans value the lives of other Africans. There are at least 30,000 people who survived 1994 in Rwanda because of General Anyidoho and his humane decision. Some of them have children and grandchildren.

Those who understand will understand. Those who don't, will never. That is the way of the world.
