i think I met the saddest version of myself this year. I’ve been feeling so drained, emotional, and lost lately. I don’t even recognize myself sometimes.
i cry over things I used to be strong enough to handle, and honestly, I hate feeling this sensitive. I keep telling everyone I’m okay, but deep down, I know I’m not.
i miss the old me the one who was happier, lighter, and didn’t overthink everything. I miss having a genuine spark in me.
why am i so far behind everyone my, why is it so hard for me to do the same things as everyone else why can't i just be normal and not struggle or be scared of everything
the only people upset with what vernon said are stans who:
1) think that kpop is only whatever songs their fave group makes
2) dont have the depth for the conversation because they’ve only been here after 2020 & dont listen to older kpop
3) dont listen to anything else other than kpop
4) dont understand what the hallyu wave is
5) see points number one through 4

SEVENTEEN’s Vernon on how K-pop is now becoming more like American pop:
— “I feel like K-pop sounds more and more like American pop instead of K-pop. I think a lot of people talk about that too. It makes me want to go back to the 2000s and early 2010s, when I was in elementary school, with Wonder Girls, BIGBANG, and 2NE1. I think it’s because K-pop producers always try to bring American sounds into K-pop and make them their own.”
