We are often told that Yusuf (عليه السلام) was exceptionally handsome and beautiful.
But no one tells us about the economic program he implemented for his nation, which ensured that during the seven years of famine, not a single person died of hunger.
@312_alee That's absolute nonsense, my dear. It only highlights how mediocre your understanding of the subject is. The reference we're discussing isn't a religious book it's a work of history. Historical sources are critically examined, not treated as infallible scripture to be acptd or rj
Did you know?
Shia's belive that Abdurrahman Ibn 'Awf, Talha, al-Zubayr, and A'isha RAAA were involved in the assassination of Hazrat e Uthman R.A they even accuse Muhammad ibn Abi-Bakr and ibn hazm of the same.
I have no hate towards the Amarnath yatris (pilgrims), but there is something called basic civic sense. How can anyone pollute such a clean river like this? I request the administration (if any exists), please, please protect our environment.
@312_alee Don't use the same old narration nathal here. Try it somewhere else!
If you've anything different to offer thn Sharh Ibn Abil Hadid, Lisan, or Ibn athir thn we can talk.
@40MaarKhan Show me a single authentic source other than Tarikh al-Tabari that proves it.
And if you considerTabari to be the standard of truth, then be consistent. Are you prepared to accept everything in it as unquestionable fact? Or do you only rely on it when it supports your argument?
@dewaan_dande Protest and assassination is all together a different thing. There are well documented reports against malik al ashthar as well! but he's hero right?
He himself admitted his crime in the killing of Uthman (RA). The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) declared the killers of Uthman (RA) to be munafiqeen (hypocrites), which, according to this argument, includes Malik al-Ashtar. The Mother of the Believers, Ayesha (RA), denied that
@Xeyaann @neonatographer May the curse be upon Abu Lulu but Malik Al ashtar didn't kill Hazrat Uthman Dhu Nurain, if that were the case Mawla Ali would've never made him the commander and I believe in the judgement of Mawla Ali as much as if he asked me to jump from a cliff I will not think twice
Proof of the Pledge of Allegiance of Imam Hasan (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Books of Ahl al-Sunnah:
Imam Ibn Abi Shaybah narrates the mention of Imam Hasan(may Allah be well pleased with him) pledge in his work "Al-Musannaf" in these explicit words:
Hatib ibn Abi Balta'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) attempted to disclose the secret of the army marching to the Conquest of Makkah to the Quraysh. Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet ﷺ for permission to execute him. The Prophet ﷺ replied:-
beautiful moments and sweet memories you shared. Do not let years of companionship become so worthless in your eyes that a single disagreement is enough for you to strangle that relationship. Who among us has/had lived a life without committing even a single mistake?
