@kckrebs37@scottcwheeler What are you on about? He’s been complaining for a decade about not getting a signing bonus on his ELC. The guy and his agent won’t let it go.
@Enigma_DML@lousyleafs He’s been saying to temper expectations. That it may take some time to adjust to the NHL game, like it would for any young player coming in. He’s not going to be a 100pt player year one. He’ll have 50-60pt. That’s all I’ve heard Kyper say, and that’s not shitting on him.
@TraderMike16@LeafsPapi_ They’re $127,382 without Domi on LTIR, which gives them another 3.75M cap space and more than enough room to sign both McKenna to his ELC ~1M and Andrae his QO $874,125. They’re allowed to spend 10.4M over the cap (10%) in the offseason. Domi goes on SELTIR at start of season.
@Hockey_Maniac7@NHLRumourReport No one *wants* to trade Knies. But if there’s a deal out there that improves your team you make it. The Leafs issue over the last decade has been sitting on hands and not making required moves. Every cup winner hasn’t been afraid to take risks such as this.
@NHLRumourReport Look at some of the returns comparable or lesser players to Knies got the past week. Toronto is definitely not asking too much. The issue is teams are used to fleecing the Leafs and Toronto media helps them do it.
@LiamArbuckle@tavkniesnythews@LeafsUpdates21 If they’re not a playoff team next year, and AM and ZW leave in 2, Knies being here in 5 years is irrelevant anyway. The rebuild starts if both leave.
@Brunsonc6ky @bigrickgoblue@tavkniesnythews@LeafsUpdates21 Using +/- to determine the value of a player just shows how inept you are. The entire team was a -, because the entire team was bad last year.
