guys... please, stay alive for the books you haven't read, the anime you haven't finished, and the stray cats you haven't petted yet. stay alive for the smell of rain, your morning coffee, the songs that will become ur new favorites, and the versions of urself you haven't met yet
This week some of our friends on social media have suffered the death of their pet.
Our family is just so sorry to hear when this happens.
We love Bunsen and Beaker (and yes Ginger) so fiercely, and we are just so heartbroken with you all too because their loss would be devastating.
A year ago, Jason was asked to give the best piece of advice he had ever received while he was on panel of accomplished speakers.
Fighting back tears, he spoke of a kind women who said four powerful words to him as he mourned the loss of his heart dog.
These words have stuck with him to this day.
They are:
Grief can go somewhere.
Grief can be hot and angry. It can rip at your heart. It can steal your breath. It can make you cry so hard your teeth crack. It can make you empty and grey.
But it can go somewhere.
It can be taken and that lost love can be poured into another animal that needs you, when you are ready.
Grief can go somewhere.
It was what dragged him out of a spiral of grief and sadness.
We hope it helps.
Alrighty, here we go; a big thread of my favorite little random specific cosplay tips. Some you may already know, some you may not ...
1) Don't just iron, understitch all your facings. It's the key to a professional finish on necklines/armholes.
