@_asjackson Keep the DLT well fed for it gets hungry and your tapes are tasty. (Generally live in fear of this sort of jam with LTO as well - single-spool tapes are all fine until something goes wrong during unthreading.)
@kirisviel Language is per paragraph/block in the document itself - make sure the Language for the paragraph in question is also correct - even if you fix your global preference, the document can still be incorrect!
@cerephic@erikarn The only problem is if @erikarn intends to learn to fly at all (as implied in his question), such medications are strictly prohibited and will likely cause issues with medical certification.
@erikarn Get lessons. Talk to the instructors about it *first* so they're aware - some schools here at least even do fear of flying courses to help people get over it. It's usually a lot less scary when you're in control.
@expectproblems @BBW_BFF I still hold up Sneakers as the reference piece for the genre - the device and plot plausible, the presentation suitably subdued, and a competent cast carrying the movie.
@AreTillery It's a direct consequence of reference related fun and games (so you can Foo &x = (0==a)?b:a; and the like - the result of the ternary needs to be a valid reference). As with most language features, it can be abused for great evil.
@expectproblems I actually eschewed dedicated MP3 players until I finally bought a first Gen iPod touch. Before that point I was a fan of minidisc players starting with a sharp unit in 2000, later buying a Sony unit when the sharp failed.
